The new Hermes King of Seasons Coronation 140 x 140 cm scarf features a double-sided monochromatic print, crafted from high-end heavyweight cashmere and silk. The material boasts an equal effect on both sides, composed of 70% cashmere and 30% silk, and is available in two colors.One side depicts a lion with a golden tasseled mane radiating like sunlight, while on the other, an eagle hides among autumn leaves. A wolf trembles gently beneath a frosty crown, and a steed adorned with a floral cloak evokes the famous works of Arcimboldo. Pierre Marie reinterprets the imagery of the seasonal cycle, with each season represented by a fantastical anthropomorphized creature, creating a lyrical homage to the bounty of nature.The attire of these mythical beasts is inspired by the costumes designed by Henry de Gissey for the ballet Les Fetes de Bacchus in the 17th century and for the Russian ballet in the early 1920s. This Baroque-style magnificent scarf pays tribute to the passage of time.
