The inner shadow circle is meticulously crafted, and the width of the fork plate is 5.5mm.Highly recommended by Qixing, the Ingenieur watch from IWC was launched at the Watches & Wonders Geneva, designed by Gerald Genta, and pays homage to the classic designs from the Gerald Genta era with reference number.The 40mm case combines vertical brushing, circular brushing, and mirror polishing techniques, with carefully reconstructed lines presenting a softer and smoother silhouette. It has a thickness of 10.7mm.The bezel is secured tightly with five screws, and the details of the lugs and H-shaped bracelet feature a new ergonomic design for a more comfortable fit on the wrist.What makes this piece particularly special is the dial, which replicates the grid pattern used in the original Ingenieur SL. This was achieved by stamping a relief pattern onto an iron base and then galvanizing it. The design consists of intercrossing fine lines, which were embossed on a soft iron blank before undergoing electroplating. This pattern covers the entire inner area of the dial, while the outer area surrounding the minute markers remains smooth. The proportion and positioning of the IWC logo have been meticulously adjusted to ensure it aligns perfectly with the grid pattern. The hour markers coated with luminescent material ensure clarity and readability at night.The dial features a large three-hand layout, with the hour markers and second hand returning to the 70s design, a date window at 3 o'clock, and the INGENIEUR logo at 6 o'clock.The completely new original quick-release steel bracelet is molded with CNC craftsmanship at the corners of the polished links, ensuring that each link is smooth and uniform.
