Cartier White is both a wristwatch and a desk clock. The Cartier CPC Gold Desk Bell Cloche is one of the rarest designs in Cartier's watchmaking history, originating from the bell-shaped wristwatch design and having only a handful of records over the past century. This does not mean that the Cloche is unpopular; on the contrary, it is one of Cartier's most recognized works. The Cloche breaks away from traditional wristwatch wearing methods, as it can be worn on the wrist or placed on a bedside table, transforming into a miniature desk clock. With a sense of drama that is just right, it perfectly embodies the spirit of European modern art from the first half of the 20th century. The CPC version from the year is one of the rarest, with only a little over a hundred pieces produced. This version slightly enlarges the early Cloche, with bolder and more modern case lines. The Prive version from the year inherits the design characteristics of the CPC version and is highly praised among seasoned collectors. Available in two sizes: 24mm and 30mm.
