Cartier White is both a wristwatch and a desk clock. The Cartier CPC Gold Desk Bell Cloche is one of the rarest designs in Cartier's watchmaking history, originating from a bell-shaped wristwatch design created in the year, with only a few dozen records of its release over the century. This does not mean that the Cloche is unpopular; on the contrary, it is one of Cartier's most renowned creations. The Cloche breaks the traditional way of wearing a watch, as it can be worn on the wrist or placed on a bedside table, transforming into a miniature desk clock. It expresses the essence of modern European art from the first half of the 20th century with a perfectly balanced sense of drama. The CPC version from the year is one of the rarest, with only a little over a hundred pieces produced. This version slightly enlarges the early Cloche, giving it a more robust and modern shell shape. The Prive version from the year inherits the design characteristics of the CPC version and is highly praised among seasoned collectors. It is available in two sizes: 24mm and 30mm.
