Miu Miu.-MIUMIU Embroidered Applique Reversible Jacket.This jacket is crafted from functional Ponge fabric, featuring a high warp density and low weft density weaving technique. The number of warp threads per inch far exceeds that of the weft, resulting in a finely textured surface with uniform diamond-shaped patterns that feel smooth and slightly lustrous. The fiber properties provide natural moisture-wicking and breathability, preventing overheating. The high-density structure enhances its abrasion resistance while maintaining good wrinkle resistance.The fabric is made from a single-sided fish scale knit with a cotton base, where the front features a smooth knit surface. The touchable side is created through a floating yarn technique on the knitting machine, forming a three-dimensional loop that adds fluffiness and a delicate feel. The loop structure has a high water absorption capacity and evaporates quickly, remaining resistant to loosening and deformation even after multiple washes.By actively intervening in the shrinkage potential of the cotton knit surface, the fabric transitions from being prone to change to stable, improving dimensional stability while resisting deformation and wrinkles.The edges are wrapped with bias-cut fabric strips, controlled to a width of approximately 0.4 cm. The edges of the two layers of fabric are aligned and folded before being stitched together, with the seams hidden within the layers.
