Jimmy Choo's designs and details are exceptionally meticulous. The hot-fix rhinestones are not just embellishments; one of the most interesting aspects of the collection is the contrast and delightful surprises. The soft pastel colors can also appear quite bold, with a striking visual appeal. Sandra Choi has brought oversized paper peonies to Milan, surrounded by greenery and flowers, creating an atmosphere akin to a surreal wonderland.
This season, what surprised me most about Jimmy Choo is the reinvention of lace. The metallic toe caps, no longer just symbols of femininity, have been deconstructed and pieced together, transforming them into standout features of the footwear. The fabric is imported lace, lined with imported Italian sheepskin, and the sole is made of imported Italian natural cowhide, available in sizes 35 to 39, customized.
