The thickness is 10.7mm. The bezel is securely fastened with five screws, and the details of the lugs and H-shaped bracelet have been ergonomically redesigned for a more comfortable fit on the wrist.The most distinctive feature of the new model is the dial, which recreates the grid pattern used in the original Ingenieur SL. This requires stamping a recessed texture onto an iron dial base, followed by galvanizing treatment. The pattern consists of interlocking fine lines, which are imprinted on the soft iron blank and then treated with electroplating. This pattern covers the entire inner area of the dial, while the outer area surrounding the minute markers remains smooth. The proportion and positioning of the IWC logo have been carefully adjusted to ensure precise alignment with the grid pattern. The hour markers coated with luminous material ensure clarity and readability at night.The dial adopts a large three-hand layout, with hour markers and second hand returning to the 1970s style. The date window is positioned at 3 o'clock, and the INGENIEUR logo is at 6 o'clock.The brand new quick-release steel bracelet has been specially designed, and the side of the bracelet features CNC craftsmanship at the corners of the polished links, ensuring that each link is smooth and well-aligned.
