Hermes has launched a new season of its Galod'Hermes watch collection, continuing to draw inspiration from equestrian sports. The uniquely rounded shape of the case is derived from the element of the stirrup. The new piece appears in a more delicate size of 20x27.2mm, perfectly fitting the slender wrists of women.The Galod'Hermes collection was first introduced in 2019, designed in collaboration with American artist Ini Archibong. It reinterprets the stirrup shape with softer lines in the case. The lugs mimic the connecting structure of the stirrup, creating a natural transition to the strap. The crown is positioned at 6 o'clock, giving the entire watch a perfectly symmetrical layout.The elegant design of the simple two-hand dial features hour markers adorned with a grainy finish, providing excellent three-dimensionality. The font of the digital hour markers is particularly playful, with sizes varying according to the shape of the case, creating an effect reminiscent of a perspective lens. The number 8 cleverly integrates the inverted shape of the stirrup, echoing the outline of the case.The case is available in two material versions: stainless steel and a luxurious diamond-set bezel that showcases bright and dazzling fire. The stainless steel version is paired with a black calfskin strap and is powered by a Swiss quartz movement.
